Our guides did the best job and they were quite enjoyable also! We loved the food, the fresh salads, soups and tajine was amazing. Every meal was extremely great! Thank you for helping us organise this tour in making our trip so fantastic and thanks to everyone involved!
The Moroccan is creating a combined effort to educate folks regarding the environmental surroundings. There is a great deal of trash in Morocco and it's a slow process supporting visitors to change customs and to become more environmentally aware. Plastic bags were banned a year ago and that's made a significant difference. When we venture off the beaten track to really remote shores we bring trash to collect along the way.
Celebrated visitors on the years were Jimi Hendrix, Winston Churchill and Orson Welles. Labelled by some as the Moroccan Woodstock, it has a combination of Jazz, Rock, Reggae and Gnaoua music.
See to its ramparts and the Port the old Medina and?Scala?. In a local Essaouira restaurant you may eat fresh fish in the Port. You should have the opportunity for making a camel trekking ride on the shore (not included).
To whoever seeks a genuine Moroccan encounter grace Marrakech opens its doors. Our guests will all equally adore seeing the sun rise from behind the snow-capped Atlas Mountains or witness it place in the desert dunes beyond. It is the perfect hideaway for couples, the best escape for families, a location for groups of friends to unite and a complex space for celebrations, special occasions and corporate meetings.
For the walking was Marrakech, who as your guide indicated wasn't too talkative, suited us perfectly, the guide organised. We then plan for the 2nd day and could decide where to go to the 1st day. An excellent induction to the foothills of the Atlas mountains. My husband is thinking of returning in the next year to maybe climb Mt Toubkal. The picnic lunch was superb with lovely mint tea supplied. We did not need 1/3 of the food supplied.
Though we did detect a pothole of bike swallowing percentages which someone had been good enough to stick on a tree branch into the visit to Kaolack was uneventful. This road deteriorates some miles and starts nicely. Survey crews will work along it in advance of a new road being constructed, at the minute. We also discovered in Kaolack the challenging Tambacounda to Kaolack road is also being rebuilt.
This time it was the dearth of interest of the staff about the guests. When you eat the breakfast in this astounding small >palaceappreciate it. When they let a guest come with a towel around his waste to consume breakfast, the ambiance ( at least for us) is completely spoiled. And if you have bunch of families with screaming children around - the same thing. The high-end peaceful heaven, which you pay a lot of cash for, is gone, Just another hotel that was standard. I'm not sure we shall see anymore.
It really is one of the oldest Moroccan cities, previously named Mogador. The Dades valley is gorgeous location of a glorious valley, fortified palaces and stone formations of fruit, wheat and silver birch trees. Known as The valley of a thousand kasbahs”. The Skoura palmearie nestles close to the Atlas mountains. A vast part of palm groves harbours crumbling Kasbahs and narrow tracks. Obviously the highlight is a camel trek into the Sahara remaining in a desert camp overnight. The price for the tour is £650/8000DH/ based on two people travelling, staying in en-suite accommodation in great hotels, including meals(desert night is contained). The hotels have excellent food. The tour car will be a Toyota 4×4.
Guide - Marrakech (we asked Marrakech how we'd let you understand who our guide was, as there are many Marrakech's in the mountains... he told us to mention.. Marrakech.. From your army... so I am hoping this description finds him back!)We ADORED Marrakech !!! He understood just the best way to push on us to our limits, although not over strain us while hiking the tough terrain. We loved learning concerning the mountain way of day and were totally taken back when he discussed some of his personal family stories with us and humbled. Out of our 12 days in Morocco, we think back to our time and will always consider these 3 days in the High Atlas the very best highlight of our trip.
The remaining trip Chez Momo was lovely and great food, but we didn't really want to only hang around by the pool after the previous days' trekking. Therefore we called Mohamad and organized the trip up to Tin Mal. It was nice that we had the ability to do that and pay after. I think Chez Momo's not on your standard itineraries. If it is, a few ideas about things to do in the region might have helped - even just to see in it and anywhere the way to walk down to the hamlet.
My buddy and I had the good fortune to use Marrakech on a 2 week trip through Morocco. I more info can't say enough to commend Marrakech! His knowledge of the state is great! He is polite and kind...his English is very good so that was so useful in communicating. For women traveling, I felt Marrakech was that security blanket which is indeed great to travel in areas so different from the U.S. I might strongly recommend Marrakech and his company and aspire to utilize them again on a future visit to Morocco .
